Licensed Psychologist or LPA

We are seeking motivated and independent Licensed Psychologists and LPAs to conduct in-person psychological assessments. These assessments typically involve a concise yet comprehensive clinical interview and administration of psychological tests such as the WAIS, WISC, and other cognitive and behavior assessments.

This position can be challenging and involves working with a population suffering from chronic mental health challenges, comorbidities, trauma histories, substance use difficulties, etc. Professionals who have worked in community mental health, the prison system, or in-patient hospitals, usually fit well. However, don't rule it out if you're on the fence! Lots of professionals at different career stages and from various backgrounds fit beautifully.

What the Job Offers

  • Competitive pay - This is a contract position with per-case compensation, offering a strong earning potential. High daily earnings are achievable based on case volume.

    • Conduct brief but thorough psychological assessments of patients' mental health conditions.

    • Write abbreviated reports where you will provide diagnoses and comment on the functional limitations of the clients across four areas

    • Submit your reports within 7 days of the examination

    • That's it! No feedback required

    • Master's degree or higher, in related area

    • Valid licensure as a Psychologist or LPA in North Carolina (if applying as an LPA, you must be trained in and eligible to provide psychological assessment. We will provide supervision.)

    • Experience in conducting psychological assessments

    • Experience writing psychological reports
